ABOUT THE ROLE:

The National Digital Sales Manager, reporting to the SVP Sales and Business Development is responsible for consultative sales, building long term client relationships, 'developing and executing the creation of long-term value (LTV) for the organization which include optimizing current partner relationships, negotiating new partnerships, finding new revenue opportunities, and executing media deals to meet the demands of a fast-paced, competitive and high-growth industry. Drive innovation and process improvements while ensuring that our client remains compliant and utilizes best practices. This role requires the ability to build strategic partnerships, upholding company integrity, maintain ethical credibility to enable and to continue to thrive in a growth environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Every potential Brand or Affiliate client wants to speak with you to understand how we help drive sells and conversions. Your job is to educate, listen, and build a customizable solution that best fits every customer’s unique needs.
  • Provide and sell integrated, cross platform national digital advertising solutions to leading brands, advertising agencies, affiliate networks and marketplace buyers across the U.S.
  • Be proficient in positioning advertising solutions for paid media and eCommerce customers.
  • Sell targeted and measurable advertising campaigns across the our clients portfolio: display, content sponsorships, native solutions, performance advertising, programmatic and data sales assets to generate incremental revenue growth.
  • Your success will be tied to your ability to support and grow new digital advertising revenue by developing business relationships that meet our client’s needs
  • Lead growth and new partner opportunities across key categories including CPG, Retail, Consumer Electronics, Pets, Travel, Apparel, Luxury Goods, etc.
  • Responsible for developing sales strategies based on market trends, competitive analysis while achieving a high level of sales performance.
  • Incrementally grow sales with 1st and 3rd party data and unique audience targeting.
  • Analyze, develop, and present market research and advertising proposals to support client goals..
  • Construct and help present client value pitch materials highlighting features and benefits.
  • Help lead RFI/RFP responses for customers through effective stakeholder management solutions, proposal building, and the closing of opportunities.
  • Strategic lead to help team monitor partner activity and analyze sales performance. Identify areas of improvement and recommend ways to increase business development and revenue.
  • Prioritize prospects and sales activity through our HubSpot CRM platform
  • Create and share best practices with other members of the team and the company.
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
  • Travel to on-site partner meetings and select industry events to represent our client

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience with at least 3+ years of experience selling digital media.
  • Proven track record of mid-large market / enterprise sales success – exceeding targets and ability to ramp quickly.
  • Must be data and metrics driven.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Strong communication and delivery skills in writing and speaking, both internally and externally
  • Skilled in collaborative management environment and ability to work and communicate with members of various teams
  • General computer and email proficiency (Google suite). Must also be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
