Director of Sales

As the Director of Sales for the Homeowner Growth Team, you are a critical piece of our client's growth and success in every market. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the sales pipeline, driving the sales teams to deliver on expectations and regularly crush sales records. You will be responsible for key growth KPIs, driving performance initiatives, and developing and executing sales playbooks.

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, can see the bigger picture, is able to execute and coordinate cross-functional partners, and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You will be deeply experienced in managing and maintaining a high-performing sales pipeline, delivering consistently excellent results. You’ll be an innovator who will promote growth and help us evolve to meet the challenges of pioneering a marketplace.


Who you are:

  • Wise from experience:
    • A proven sales manager, with significant full life-cycle sales experience, from lead to post-sales support experience.
    • You are likely a startup vet, having grown your career and helped an early-stage startup get off the ground.
    • A hands-on contributor who believes the $4.5 trillion rental markets can be significantly improved for both homeowners and renters.
  • Empathetic: An advocate for the customer who is focused and detail-oriented.
  • Relentless: You have a bias towards action, an ownership mentality and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Naturally curious – You always look for ways to innovate and improve and want to share the vision and direction of the company

What you will do:

  • Strategize – Devise and execute initiatives against the overall sales org strategy
  • Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run sales tests and lead market intelligence efforts
  • Optimize – Drive process improvements and automations to promote efficiency and scalability
  • Analyze – Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of strategic initiatives
  • Listen: Champion customer needs and concerns, respond with empathy, and educate prospects on the significant benefits of joining our community.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience at a notable technology firm, with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Sales management experience leading teams of sales professionals to record revenue attainment
  • Leader of leaders: You’ve managed sales managers
  • Proven ability to drive inside B2C sales, particularly in the SMB market, including pipeline development, management, and reporting, and lead generation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in real estate is a big plus
  • Success with consultative selling strategy is a plus
  • MBA preferred
  • Relocation to either Salt Lake City or Miami (hybrid)
